AHPCS SERVICES

The American Historical Print Collectors Society is a non-profit, federally tax-exempt organization which does not authenticate, appraise, buy or sell prints; nor does the Society recommend or endorse dealers or collectors. We invite you to join. Members receive the scholarly journal Imprint twice yearly, the AHPCS Newsletter quarterly, and an annual membership directory that lists areas of collecting interests. AHPCS sponsors an annual three day national meeting and various local one day regional meetings.

Classified advertising in the AHPCS Newsletter, reaching over 500 members, about material within the Society's area of interest: $3 per line of 60 characters, minimum charge of $15; count each letter, number, punctuation mark and space as one character; no graphics accepted. Send check with exact copy to be printed to the above address. Larger or illustrated advertisements can also be arranged. Your advertisement will appear in the next issue of the Newsletter. The Society reserves the right to reject without cause any advertisement it does not deem suitable.

Currier & Ives--The New Best 50, a hard-bound book presenting the results of the Society's three year project involving the review of over 7000 prints published by Currier & Ives and an "election" by the national membership of 50 Best large and 50 Best small folio subjects. All 100 elected prints are illustrated in color, with text commentary and analysis; 80 pages; edition limited to 2000; Milwaukee, 1991.
